This was a big disappointment to me for two reasons: it's hard to push, and you can't direct where the snow is blown. I have a narrow lot, with garage on an alley, leaving me few places to put the snow. Sure it blows snow off my driveway - right onto my neigbor's drive! Or onto cars parked on the street. I drag the thing out once in a while, for a big snow, but it's usally easier to just shovel.

Well, as mother nature would have it and thanks to the climate change, I haven't had an opportunity to use it yet ( which is fine with me)however,I DO have a complaint regarding the extremely poor and inadequate packaging. Upon delivery,which was fast by the way, I opened the box to find the unit was just placed in this large box with absolutely NO restraint packaging to hold the unit in place. We all know how deliveries are handled and I would think that Toro would be aware of this and act and package their item accordingly. I DID write their customer service department informing them of my concern and disapproval to which I received a reply a day later from their rep thanking me for alerting them to this problem. Hopefully they will take action and resolve the problem before they start receiving a rash of customer complaints and returns due to the units being broken or defective upon delivery. As far as it performance and reliability, I can not comment honestly at this time. Hopefully it WILL work if and when its needed.
